Anti-Trans Activist from LGB Alliance Sues LGBT Organization for Discrimination

Allison Bailey, an attorney from England and co-founder of the controversial LGB Alliance which aims to prevent the inclusion of Transgender people from inclusion in greater society, has sued Stonewall UK, a champion for LGBTQ rights and visibility.
In late 2019, Bailey announced the establishment of her new LGB Alliance campaign, an initiative that claims its duty is to preserve the integrity of same sex relationships and thwart the loss of sex-based rights. The announcement came via Twitter, and most people believed it was another effort to exhaustively troll transgender users of the social media platform by latching onto the movement to excise the T from LGBT- a mock-movement that began on 4chan intended to sew division in the minority community.
However, Bailey was serious.
In the months that followed, Bailey garnered incredible support from Anti-Trans feminists, gender critics and transphobic bigots alike, some of who had made a career peddling relentless hate-motivated crusades against Transgender individuals. Efforts to crowdfund heavily politicized transphobic billboards and full page newspaper appeals to the public across the United Kingdom- and one to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson- to crucify Trans people were generally successful, despite some funding sites suspending Bailey’s efforts to crowdfund prejudice upon realizing the toxic intent.
As the LGB Alliance and its supporters gave a mammoth push to the tidal wave of misinformation intended to poorly frame Transgender people, misrepresent their collective intent and shape public opinion in an a manner that could be deadly. Their agenda became so caustic, and at such a perilous time for transgender people around the world, that many labeled them a hate group as Gays, Lesbians and allies pushed back- including Stonewall UK- and Bailey’s own law firm who launched an investigation into her after-hours activities.
The pursuits of the LGB Alliance managed to rally some of the most notorious transphobes who have weaponized ignorance to negatively portray transgender people, and subsequently monetize the fear and anxiety they stoke all while claiming themselves the victim of censorship or silencing, yet they never stop talking. Bigotry can be lucrative- as has been demonstrated by religious evangelicals for centuries- who were the primary critics of marriage equality, interracial marriage and women’s reproductive rights. Using the same playbook, LGB Alliance claims to want to save imperiled gays and lesbians from being territorialized by transgender people, just as those evangelicals wanted to save the institution of family, preserve the sanctity of marriage as between one man and one woman or the rescue fertilized ovum from the clutches of promiscuous, sinful women. Where no enemy truly exists, one must be created for the sake of action against them appearing purposeful or with merit. The grift, in the case of LGB Alliance, has gone as far as them petitioning for charity status, a heavily criticized move. A petition garnering support asking the UK media to stop platforming the LGB Alliance was met with a response from them… asking for more donations.
Previous efforts to fundraise had been suspended with one entirely removed due to “violent and abusive language…”
Early on, critics of the LGB Alliance launched an investigation into it- and the individuals who joined them- only to find some were also participatory in other social campaigns. The Heritage Foundation, an organization who had been amplifying discord between fringe extremists and the greater LGBTQ community have historically promoted anti-gay agendas that sought to stop gay parents from using surrogates to have biological children and openly condemned LGBTQ support groups or clubs in schools. Why would a bunch of evangelical Christians who object to gay rights and equalities join an initiative that claims to be looking out for the interests of gay people? One can fairly conclude that the entire spectacle is solely designed to destabilize the entire LGBTQ community who would be weaker, divided, against future political and social hate campaigns.
And it has worked. Sadly, some high profile figures in the gay and lesbian community have come out in strong support of the LGB Alliance, including politicians, in spite of the pressure group’s refusal to denounce the worst of the ilk that its visibility has attracted, including alt-right neo-nazis and aggressive homophobes who, regardless of their loathing of queer people, seem to champion what LGB Alliance aims to achieve, which alone should be deemed highly suspect. LGB alliance has, over time, dropped the charade of attempting to appear to be in servitude to the protections of Lesbian and Gay equalities, even publicly claiming that it is “Not homophobic” to be against marriage equality.
So, it should come as no surprise that Bailey would sue Stonewall UK, despite that organization being a tireless advocate for gays, lesbians… and transgender people. The fact that Stonewall has included transgender people at all in their efforts to provide vital resources, public education and sponsor inclusive, gender affirming programs has made them a target of Bailey via LGB Alliance since she and her cohorts stepped into the public forum with their own organization. Operating with the mission to convince others that simply being transgender is an act of homophobia, the LGB Alliance has launched petitions and written stern letters to Stonewall UK, demanding they reconsider supporting transgender identities- delivered under the guise of “respectful and open dialog…” Baiting people to ostracize transgender people by trying to seem reasonable and polite about it.
When asking Stonewall (And many others) to exclude transgender people from their activism or inclusion didn’t work, LGB Alliance began taking more hostile tactics, and now have sued them, claiming Stonewall alone incited an investigation into Bailey by her employers… and not at all of consequence to the cruel efforts to extoll her own dangerous brand of discrimination upon an already marginalized community.
And, once again, she is crowdfunding; Asking the public for money to defend herself from accountability in her personal war against innocent transgender people.
That she is claiming discrimination? Well, that’s just ironic.
